With their signature performance style\, the duo delves into a hallucinatory landscape of dreams where language dissolves and movement and song emerge as the only reliable means of expression. \n\nwww.thebipedsdance.weebly.com\nhttps://m.facebook.com/thebipedsdance/\nhttps://instagram.com/thebipedsdance/\nhttps://twitter.com/BipedsDance/\n\n  \nIsabella Collazo \n“At Intervals” \nHow do you carry power in your body? When you need to look powerful\, what do you do? At Intervals is a rich and evocative contemporary dance work inspired by the many ways that power is embodied. Set to music by electronic recording artist Flying Lotus\, the piece showcases innovative movement vocabulary and expansive spacial design to celebrate how powerful individuals move through the world.  \n  \nRaina Lucas \n“muse” \nPresented\, vignette-style\, muse.\, is a solo of solos. The work fades in and out of fragmentary ideas to illustrate the personal\, imperfect\, and sometimes frustrating creative process. The work contests the uselessness of partial ideas; The soloist travels from one idea to the next exploring possibilities of creation through co-existence. \nPerformed by: Jackie Bennett\nMusic: “Plante Des Memes” François Couperin-Jordi Savall \n\nhttps://rainalucasdancecolab.wordpress.com\n\n  \nRick Mccullough \n“When The Time Comes” \nAn outsider follows the direction of her own choosing. \nThis piece was inspired by the music and the cast of talented movers.  During the creative process the characters and situations revealed themselves.  It became apparent that one of the group would be singled out as different.  Ultimately\, the outsider finds her own direction\, independent of the others. \n\nhttp://mcculloughdance.com\nhttps://www.youtube.com/user/BryMar1995\n\n  \n Ashlee Ramsey & Rose Sunil \n“Two” \nTwo investigates the process of two people discovering one another’s presence and learning to co-exist and co-create. Within this theme we explore seeking in the dark; using touch as a form of truly witnessing\, listening and learning; becoming connected; becoming entangled; shedding unnecessary ties; and sharing weight as a metaphor for mutual support. \nChoreographed by: Ashlee Ramsey & Rose Sunila \n
